Welcome to Messiah Lutheran Church! It is our joy to have you worship with us.

  •  The Sacrament of Holy Communion is available to all baptized Christians who recognize in the Sacrament the true body and blood of our Lord. Children who normally receive the Sacrament in their home congregation are also welcome to the table.  Anyone having difficulty walking to the communion rail may receive Holy Communion at his/her seat.  Please inform an usher of your need.
  •  Gluten-free wafers are available for Holy Communion upon request.  Please inform the pastor of your need.
  •  Handicap Accessibility:  Handicap Parking Spaces are available at the rear of the building on Bald Eagle Alley.  Restrooms are handicap accessible, and elevators are available for those unable to use the stairs.
  •  Hearing Devices and Large-Print Bulletins are available from the ushers for those with special needs.
  •  Children are always welcome at both services.  Activity bags are available in the narthex for use by the children during the service.  If a child becomes restless during the service and his/her parents feel the need to remove the child from the church, a parent may take the child to Hartzell Lounge (just off the sanctuary), where a tote of items has been provided, until the parent feels that the child is ready to return to the church service.
  •  Sunday Church School is offered at 9:30 A.M. during the school year for everyone two years old through adults. A directory is located near the alley entrance.
  • Prayer Requests may be made by calling the church office at (570) 326-9171 or by utilizing the “Prayer Request Book” located in the narthex.
