please pre-register!
IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER
DROP-OFF: Children should be dropped off no earlier than 8:50 each morning. All children will report directly to their classrooms, which are located on the top floor of the education building. Children must be taken to the classroom by a parent or designated adult.
PICK-UP: All children must be picked up from their classroom by a designated adult. Dismissal is at noon.
NO COST! There is no cost to attend. Messiah Lutheran Church offers Vacation Bible School as an outreach ministry to the community.
OFFERINGS: A free will offering will be taken each day. Children are encouraged to give as they are able. Offerings this year will be used to help fund our Missional Outreach group’s project to assemble School Kits for Lutheran World Relief. More information will be sent home during the week about this project.

VBS Theme for the Week – June 12-16, 2023
STELLAR VBS – Shine Jesus’ Light!
DAY 1: When life seems dark, shine Jesus‘ light.
Bible Verse of the Day: John 8:12 “Jesus … said, ‘I am the light of the world.’ ”
Bible Story: Luke 2:1-20; Matthew 1:18-2:12 Jesus comes as a baby to be king.
DAY 2: When people don’t get along, shine Jesus’ light.
Bible Verse of the Day: Romans 12:16 “Live in harmony with each other.”
Bible Story: Luke 19:1-9 Jesus accepts Zacchaeus.
DAY 3: When good things happen, shine Jesus’ light.
Bible Verse of the Day: Psalm 100:1 “Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!”
Bible Story: Luke 19:28-40 Jesus enters Jerusalem as a king.
DAY 4: When people are sad, shine Jesus’ light.
Bible Verse of the Day: John 14:1 “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God.”
Bible Story: John 19:20 Jesus cares for his mother during his crucifixion.
DAY 5: When people need help, shine Jesus’ light.
Bible Verse of the Day: Matthew 5:16 “Let your good deeds shine … so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”
Bible Story: Acts 8:26-39 Philip helps the Ethiopian.
