Walk-ins are welcome, BUT . . . you can help us plan – register early!



DROP-OFF: Children should be dropped off no earlier than 8:50 each morning. All children will report directly to their classrooms, which are located on the top floor of the education building. Children must be taken to the classroom by a parent or designated adult.

PICK-UP: All children must be picked up from their classroom by a designated adult.

NO COST! There is no cost to attend. Messiah Lutheran Church offers Vacation Bible School as an outreach ministry to the community.

OFFERINGS: A free will offering will be taken each day. Children are encouraged to give as they are able. Offerings this year will be used to help fund our BYG group’s project to assemble School Kits for Lutheran World Relief. More information will be sent home during the week about this project.

T-SHIRTS NEEDED FOR TUESDAY: During Crafts on Tuesday, the children will be using fabric markers to decorate a T-shirt which will then be worn during the closing program on Friday. Each child is asked to bring a new or gently used, clean WHITE or light-colored T-shirt on Tuesday.

Vacation Bible School at a Glance 

Following is a snapshot of the lessons the children will explore this week For those who would lie an extra devotional to do at home during the week take a ride through God’s promises with us!

VBS Theme for the Week – June 13-17, 2022:

god is Awesome!

DAY 1: God loves you no matter what.

Bible verse of the Day: Psalm 89:2   “Your unfailing love will last forever.”

Bible Story: Genesis 37    Joseph’s family feuds.


DAY 2: God is with you everywhere.

Bible verse of the Day: Joshua 1:9     “For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Bible Story: Genesis 39-40     Joseph is imprisoned.


DAY 3: God is in charge.

Bible verse of the Day: Psalm 147:5   “How great is our Lord! His power is absolute!”

Bible Story: Genesis 41    Joseph gets new responsibilities.


DAY 4: God is stronger than anything.

Bible verse of the Day: Romans 8:38     “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love.”

Bible Story: Luke 23-24:12     Jesus dies and comes back to life.


DAY 5: God is surprising.

Bible verse of the Day: Psalm 66:5     “Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles He performs for people!”

Bible Story: Genesis 42-45   Joseph reunites with his family.
