please pre-register!
IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER
DROP-OFF: Children should be dropped off no earlier than 8:50 each morning. All children will report directly to their classrooms, which are located on the top floor of the education building. Children must be taken to the classroom by a parent or designated adult.
PICK-UP: All children must be picked up from their classroom by a designated adult. Dismissal is at noon.
NO COST! There is no cost to attend. Messiah Lutheran Church offers Vacation Bible School as an outreach ministry to the community.
OFFERINGS: A free will offering will be taken each day. Children are encouraged to give as they are able. Offerings this year will be used to help fund our Missional Outreach group’s project to assemble School Kits for Lutheran World Relief. More information will be sent home during the week about this project.

VBS Theme for the Week – June 17-21, 2024
SCUBA VBS – DIVING INTO FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD!
DAY 1: God is a friend who’s real.
Bible Verse of the Day: John 6:69 “We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.”
Bible Story: 1 Kings 18-19 God shows himself to Elijah through ups and downs.
DAY 2: God is a friend who loves!
Bible Verse of the Day: John 13:34 “Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.”
Bible Story: Jonah 1-3 God shows compassion to the people of Nineveh.
DAY 3: God is a friend we trust!
Bible Verse of the Day: John 14:27 “I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart.”
Bible Story: Mark 4:35-41 Jesus calms a storm.
DAY 4: God is a friend forever!
Bible Verse of the Day: John 11:25 “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.”
Bible Story: John 18-20 Jesus dies and comes back to life.
DAY 5: God is a friend for everyone!
Bible Verse of the Day: John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
Bible Story: Acts 16:11-15 Lydia believes in Jesus.
